Privacy

Updated October 4, 2026

ADLC is run by Asaf Saar (CorgiMind). This notice explains the optional Google Analytics measurement on the homepage and public book pages.

Optional analytics

If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures visits to public pages, including the homepage, book introduction, free chapter, updates, terms and privacy pages. It uses cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions and reports information such as the page visited, referring website, approximate location, browser and device type.

The Google tag is blocked until you allow it. Rejecting analytics keeps it blocked. Advertising features are disabled. We do not send account details, purchase details, notes, search text or paid chapter content to Google Analytics. Query strings and URL fragments are removed from the page URLs we send; referring URLs are limited to their website origin.

Cookies and your choice

Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days. If you allow analytics, Google sets cookies named _ga and _ga_…, configured to expire after 180 days without use. Use Cookie settings on a public page to change your choice. Rejecting analytics after allowing it stops collection, removes these cookies for this site and reloads the page.

Without JavaScript, or if your browser blocks the tag, Google Analytics does not load. Clearing your browser's site data also removes the saved choice.

Google's processing

Analytics data is processed by Google and may be processed outside your country. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

The living book

The book also uses Vercel Web Analytics and has account, purchase and reading features. Those are described in the book's privacy notice.
